Inspired by the Russian communist propaganda art of the early 20th century where figures are often seen to be looking toward a better future, she encompasses feelings of both resilience and fragility whilst her simplistic, angular form is reminiscent of the futuristic imagery used in films such as ‘Metropolis’.
